My name is Juan Chipres, founder of Vinyl Flare and my journey with cars started young. I’ve always been captivated by the way cars bring people together, tell a story, and reflect the personality of their owners. When I got my first Lexus, it became more than just a car—it became a canvas for creativity and connection.

I started customizing it, documenting my progress on a page called Bay_RCF, and forming a Lexus group in the Bay Area. What began as a simple way to connect with fellow enthusiasts quickly grew into something much bigger—a community built on a shared love for cars, unique builds, and the friendships that come with it.

From Hobby to Innovation

As I explored customization further, I became fascinated with vinyl wraps. Wrapping my car started as a hobby, but the joy of transforming vehicles and seeing others’ excitement inspired me to take it further. I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about vinyl and eventually turned this passion into a car-wrapping business.

Through social media, I connected with people who shared my vision for unique builds. Their support and encouragement pushed me to keep innovating.

Then came the spark—an idea that would change everything. I realized how challenging and expensive it was for the average person to customize their calipers. This small detail makes a big difference in a build, yet traditional methods were costly and complicated.

That’s when I set out to create a cost-effective, easy-to-install solution. After months of testing and refining, Vinyl Flare was born.
